Dyna-Hoist systems operate standard lift, high-lift and vertical-lift sectional doors using a single-phase 3 to 5 amp power supply. (8 amps required with lighting control.) In addition, all operators are equipped with a disengage feature allowing for manual operation.
The Dyna-Hoist system provides fast variable speed operation with soft start and soft stop control that eliminates the possibility of cables coming off the drums.
The system does not require limit switches as the controller monitors motor current, and automatically stops the door at the fully open and fully closed positions.
During unexpected power failures, the low voltage DC motor can be powered from an optional battery pack, providing operation for up to 30 hours, depending upon the number of times the door is opened and closed.

The controller incorporates an adjustable auto-close timer, full safety control from photo eyes and other safety equipment, as well as full access control from external devices. |

Because of the motor's inherent sensing feature, a safety edge is not required. The door can simply be stopped by hand pressure during the close cycle. |

A slide bolt lock inter-lock is not required because the system will sense that the lock is engaged and stop the motor. |

If ANY PART OF THE DOOR strikes an obstruction, the controller will sense the change in current, the door will instantly stop or reverse to the open position. |
